Waterbury is a village situated in the town of Waterbury in Washington County, Vermont, United States. It is located at 44°20′23″N 72°45′1″W at 427 feet above the sea level. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.8 square miles (4.7 km²). As of the census of 2000, there were 1,706 people, 793 households and 409 families residing in the village. The population density was 958.9 people per square mile (370.1/km²).
